Merino is breathable, helping to regulate your babies temperature, warming when cold and cooling when hot. Merino can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water before feeling wet. Merino is extremely soft and low itch.
This merino gown is made from 210gms super soft rib merino, a little bit thicker than standard merino clothing to give extra warmth for premature babies. The extra warmth is important is as premature babies need to be using the food they receive for growing and not for keeping warm. The rib merino also stretches making it easier to dress your baby, especially through the sleeves.
This body suit is an ideal first or second layer for a prem baby.
The body suit is suitable for prem babies between 2.5kg to 3.5kg (18cm wide, 29cm long)
And is available in violet, raspberry, and navy.
The body suit is now made with 2 nickel domes (as opposed to 3 domes in some photos).
